so this is me. Hi!
My name is Romina, but most people just call me Romi. I’m an editorial illustrator, art director in communication, and a forever-curious creative human currently living and working in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I was born and raised here, in a city where bookstores, museums, late-night cafés, and chaos coexist beautifully. Maybe that’s why I’m drawn to contrasts: the logical and the mystical, the scientific and the esoteric, the shadows of thriller novels and the soft glow of art.
In a regular week, you'll find me sketching portraits, shaping visual narratives for brands, or building my ever growing creative ecosystem, anything that lets imagination take form. I love blending strategy and intuition, design and storytelling, minimalism and magic.
I’m deeply inspired by detective stories and psychological thrillers, and I balance that intensity by diving into science communication—especially neuroscience, quantum physics, and the mysteries of the mind. I’m also endlessly fascinated by witchcraft, symbolism, archives, and the way humans have always tried to understand themselves through stories.
When I'm not drawing or directing visual concepts, you’ll probably find me reading (something dark, twisted, or existential), listening to science podcasts, wandering through a bookstore, or exploring Buenos Aires with a notebook in my bag.
At the core of everything I create, there’s the same intention:
to explore the mind, translate emotion into images, and connect through honest, thoughtful, human storytelling.
to explore the mind, translate emotion into images, and connect through honest, thoughtful, human storytelling.
If that resonates with you — hello, and welcome.
Let's build something meaningful together.
